LATEST NEWS FROM THE SFA JOINT RESPONSE TEAM 10/07/20
FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 5-17, SESSIONS FOR UP TO 10 PLAYERS AND TWO COACHES ARE ALLOWED. PLAYER TO PLAYER CONTACT IS PERMITTED WITHIN THOSE TRAINING SESSIONS, HOWEVER COACHES MUST REMAIN PHYSICALLY DISTANCED FROM PLAYERS AT ALL TIMES. CLUBS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP ATTENDANCE RECORDS FOR EACH SESSION TO ASSIST WITH TRACING PROTOCOLS. GAMES, FRIENDLY MATCHES ARE STILL SUSPENDED
PLAYERS 18 AND OVER THEY ARE ALLOWED TO RESUME PHYSICALLY DISTANCED TRAININGS. THE PARTICIPANTS IN EACH SESSION MUST BE FROM NO MORE THAN 5 HOUSEHOLDS WITH A MAX OF 15 PERSONS.THERE CAN BE NO PLAYER TO PLAYER CONTACT AND ALL INVOLVED MUST REMAIN PHYSICALLY DISTANT FROM EACH OTHER BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER EACH SESSION. CLUBS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP A RECORD OF ATTENDANCE. GAMES, FRIENDLIES ARE STILL NOT PERMITTED.

Latest News from the SFA Joint Response Group- The SFA have reached agreement with the goverment to allow Professional clubs to permit their first team squads to restart training on June 11th if they have met the proper testing regime and other safegaurding measures agreed by the SFA and the Scottish Goverment. Please note that this agreement DOES NOT PERMIT SYFA CLUBS TO START TRAINING EVEN ON A 1 TO 1 BASIS. ALL SYFA TEAMS ARE STILL NOT PERMITTED TO TRAIN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE REGION WILL UPDATE ALL THE LEAGUES AND TEAMS WHEN THIS CONDITION IS LIFTED. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN TO TRAINING UNTIL WHEN ADVISED TO DO SO.
Latest Update on Coronavirus- Attached is the lastest update from the Joint Response Group on COVID-19
THE WEST REGION COMMITTE HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO POSTPONE THIS SEASONS REGIONAL CUP FINALS DUE TO THE ONGOING LOCKDOWN PROCEDURES. THEY HAVE ALSO DECIDED TO REDUCE THE TEAMS REGIONAL FEE FOR NEXT SEASON FROM £14 TO £10 PER TEAM
FROM THE SYFA. NO DECISION HAS YET TO BE MADE ON THE OUTCOME OF LEAGUES WHO ARE IN MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION. THE SFA HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT THERE WILL BE NO TRAINING OR GAMES PERMITTED TO AT LEAST THE 10TH JUNE WHEN AGAIN IT WILL BE REVIEWED. ANY UPDATES WILL BE PUT ON THE WEB PAGE
